What is YardSard?
An all-in-one yard sale organizer (but feel free to use for any other kind of sale too).
You can add items, organize your catalog, track sales, and export your records.
Is it free?
Yes! YardSard is free to download and use.
There are optional monthly/yearly, or life-time premium options let you do a few more fun things (like cloud backups, device-syncing, and even restoring deleted items). You’d also support this guy (me).
Paid options include $2.99/month, $24.99/year, or (for now) $30.00 for lifetime access.
How do payments work within YardSard?
The honest answer is that I don’t want to deal with payments directly, but I also want to make it easy for y’all to sell your items.
On the app, you can enter your username for the popular payment apps (Venmo, PayPal, Cash App), and it can automatically create QR codes for each item you’re trying to sell—so that all the buyer has to do is scan the code on their smartphone, and it will open the corresponding payment app!
(This is me leaving financial stuff to companies way more capable than me)
Do I need an account?
Nope! You can use the app as a guest (no login required) but certain features will be restricted (think: try-before-you-buy type).
You can create a free account by signing up via Google or Apple for significant more usage (unlimited items, sale events, etc., a lot of these features available on the non-premium version).
And optionally, upgrade to premium for some nifty features.
Does it work offline?
Yes. This is an offline-first app. If you’re a guest or free-account user, you can add / sell / track items without any connectivity.
If you’re using a premium account (which comes with cloud backups and syncing between devices), your data syncs automatically when you’re back online!
Is my data private?
Your data belongs to you, and your information stays private. I don’t fully understand the Internet, and I strongly dislike ads – so you’ll never see those.
How do I cancel or manage my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID settings. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime in the App Store subscription section.
